The Environmental Sciences and Policy minor will permit students in various fields to complement their academic major with an interdisciplinary program of study in the natural sciences, social sciences, and environmental regulation.
The curricular core includes three Natural Science Courses, three Social Science Courses, and one in Environmental Regulation. One additional course is chosen from a list of Electives with varied emphasis.
Natural Science Courses: Select 3 of the following. (9-11 hours)
BIO 369 General Ecology (4)
CHM 225 Principles of Environmental Chemistry (3) or CHM 425 Environmental Chemistry (3)
GLG 171 Environmental Geology (4)* or GRY 108 Ecology and Society (3)**
Recommended: At least one statistic course.
*GLG 171 partially fulfills the Natural World general education requirement
**GRY 108 partially fulfills the Culture and Society general education requirement
