MoLSAMP Undergraduate Research Symposium

2021 Summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)


Students who are rising sophomores, juniors or seniors studying at U.S. institutions and who are from backgrounds historically underrepresented in STEM are eligible to apply. These backgrounds include: low-income, first-generation college, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and Native Pacific Islanders, and those with disabilities. Students from the MOLSAMP Alliance schools are strongly encouraged to apply.

Missouri LSAMP Paid Summer Research at Mizzou​​​​​​​​​​​​​​


Applicants are expected to have completed at least three semesters of full-time college enrollment prior to June 2021 and be currently enrolled at a MoLSAMP college or university. Students graduating prior to December 2021 are not eligible. Students must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

STEM Study Lounge

LSAMP Graduate School Workshop

We are having a Graduate School Workshop on Friday, November 1,  from 3:30PM-4:30PM in Kemper Hall Room 101M. This is the conference room in the Physics department. We will be serving cookies! We look forward to seeing you there.

LSAMP Study Skills Workshop

LSAMP is offering a study skills workshop: "How to Catch Up After Midterms Without Falling Behind" on Thursday, October 17, from 2:30-3:30PM in the library, room 209. There will be free pizza!

S-STEM Professional Development Workshops

MoLSAMP has a great opportunity this semester to partner with Dr. Pierson’s S-STEM Professional Development Seminars. There are speakers every week discussing research, internships, employment, and study skills. They meet every Thursday from 5-5:50 PM (Kemper rm 205). Participation is strictly by invitation. Keep an eye on your email for an invitation!
