Ask any student who has taken the opportunity to study away and they will tell you that it was a defining life experience. As a university with a mission in public affairs, we think it is imperative that our students learn to think and act globally. CNAS faculty members offer intercession or brief study away trips. In March 2016, the GGP Study Away group went to Ireland as part of the Geotourism program with professor Linnea Iantria. At the American Embassy, they met U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, Kevin O'Malley, who hails from St. Louis.

Go to Cuba in 2017

A new and exciting Study Away program in the field of Biology takes you to the neighboring island of Cuba. Learn about and reflect on our complicated relationship with Cuba and how it affects the biodiversity of people in the Caribbean. This week-long program occurs January 2-10, 2017.
