Educator Resources
You have completed an educator workshop with Project WET, what's next?
1. Plan activities and lessons with the Project WET curriculum
Use the Curriculum and Activity Guide that you received as part of your workshop to plan activities and lessons!
2. Explore the WELL
The Water Education Learning Library (WELL) is a content library with interactive e-books, eLessons, videos and more. You can now access Project WET’s award-winning water education publications and activities anytime, anywhere. The WELL includes regular and exclusive newsletters, webinars for tips and tricks on Project WET activities, current events, on a membership-basis.
3. Learn about educational standards
All of Project WET curriculum and activities are correlated to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
- Next Generation Science Standard for PLT PreK-8
- Next Generation Science Standard for Early Childhood WET.
Missouri Learning Standards exist for science, math, and English/language arts. Project WET materials was last correlated to the Missouri Learning Standards (MLS) in 2012; however, in 2018, Missouri updated their learning standards to closer align to the NGSS. The plan is for Project WET curriculum to be correlated to the MLS in summer of 2024.
4. Become a facilitator
Check out our upcoming workshops for bi-annual facilitator training or contact the state coordinator for more details.
5. Connect with a new state coordinator
